No creo que nadie tenga la respuesta a esta pregunta, pero s\u00ed podemos vislumbrar nuevas y emergentes formas, a veces radicales, de entender el proceso de creaci\u00f3n arquitect\u00f3nico. En una conversaci\u00f3n que mantuvieron Salvador Dal\u00ed y Le Corbusier, el primero vaticinaba un cambio de tendencia respecto a la arquitectura que proyectaba el segundo, y ya entonces describ\u00eda la arquitectura del futuro como algo blando y peludo. Y podemos afirmar que cada vez estamos m\u00e1s cerca de este tipo de arquitectura, m\u00e1s parecida a un organismo vivo, que a los est\u00e1ndares r\u00edgidos y est\u00e1ticos m\u00e1s propios de la era industrial. S\u00ed s\u00ed, como lo oyen, la arquitectura blanda y peluda de la que hablaba Dal\u00ed surge de la uni\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n entre profesionales de tan diversas disciplinas como arquitectos, bi\u00f3logos, nanotecn\u00f3logos, ingenieros qu\u00edmicos, de materiales y hasta bot\u00e1nicos. La primera es usar la Naturaleza como modelo o biom\u00edmesis, que es la ciencia que estudia los organismos naturales para imitar o inspirarse en sus dise\u00f1os y procesos biol\u00f3gicos para resolver problemas humanos, en este caso arquitect\u00f3nicos. Pensemos aqu\u00ed en la infinitas posibilidades de estudio y aplicaci\u00f3n, como por ejemplo los principios de termoregulaci\u00f3n en animales y su aplicaci\u00f3n en edificios de consumo cero; o las estrategias de adaptaci\u00f3n de una planta al clima des\u00e9rtico y su aplicaci\u00f3n a envolventes vivas en edificios en similares condiciones clim\u00e1ticas. Nuevos paradigmas a trav\u00e9s de estructuras vivas y funciones experimentales. Fusi\u00f3n de materiales tradicionales como el hormig\u00f3n con organismos como mohos, bacterias o protoc\u00e9lulas para aplicaciones de estructuras con capacidad de autorregenerarse, autorrepararse o incluso autodestruirse. Crecimientos org\u00e1nicos de hongos con aplicaciones urban\u00edsticas. Al igual que la biom\u00edmesis, el bio-dise\u00f1o ofrece numerosas posibilidades de creaci\u00f3n.
